I want to first start off by saying thank you for being such amazing customers of MMCC.
We literally are nothing without your support!
As promised I wanted to share with you the first of many Single Origin coffee offerings. My plan was to eventually branch off deeper into the specialty coffee world so I can share my passion for amazing offerings from all over the world.
The first coffee I have to offer is a special lot of green coffee that I was able to get my hands on about a month ago, it comes from a small family farm Co-op in Guatemala that is known for their exceptional green coffee.
Huehuetenango San Pedro Necta
This is a limited edition and very limited run of exceptional single origin Guatemalan Coffee.
This is a new crop from Guatemala's Huehuetenango region, producers process their own coffee and sell it in parchment, which is more profitable than selling cherry.
This coffee combines parchment from dozens of producers in the town of San Pedro Necta, in Huehuetenango. Each producer floated the fruit for defects, de-pulped the cherry with a hand-cranked machine, fermented it between 12 and 18 hours, washed it and then dried it on patios for approximately seven days.
It was dry milled at Beneficio Serbin and was harvested as a first crop of 2021.
Fruity profile; bright, winey acidity and a delicate body.
Notes of milk chocolate, stone fruit, citrus.
Only 120 Pounds of this roast is available, I am trying to source more as it becomes available and will hopefully have it in our specialty line up on a more consistent basis. So get yours while you can!
I want to invite you all to try this beautiful dark roast Guatemalan. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy sharing my passion for amazing coffee with you.
